The Corvallis Homeless Ministry is a Ministry of Redemption Church of Corvallis. We are a group of Christians in Corvallis, primarily from Redemption Church. God has laid it on our hearts to serve the local homeless population, many of whom are in desperate straits and feel unloved, and we do so by handing out food (for now).
Every Saturday at about noon, starting at the Corvallis Dog Park downtown by 2nd Street & Western Boulevard, we spend 1-2 hours handing out sandwiches to every homeless person we can find in the city (until we run out of people or sandwiches).
Afterward, we send an update to everyone subscribed to this newsletter about how many sandwiches we handed out, what we’re seeing, who helped out, and future plans.
